I have thought about everything in my sister’s wedding except for the groomsmen gifts..I find it hard to choose what to give to those bunch of bachelor guys because I don’t really know what they want and like. I asked my sister what kind of people are they and what kinds of things they like so that I may have an idea of what to give them. This is more important and more hands-on job than just buy something that they might not appreciate afterward, right? I am not that kind of maid of honor, I choose things wisely.

Little by little, I have been able to complete almost all the wii accessories that I need. I started buying them since last Christmas and you know, wii accessories are not that friendly in the budget plus I have other things to buy, too. But now, I am proud of myself that I have collected as many as I want and I didn’t do that by asking for credit. Though I use my credit card at times when I purchase, I pay for them with my own money. That just feels right.

I was surprised to get a call from an old friend telling me that we will have a reunion next month with my old friends in high school. I couldn’t get more happier and excited knowing that I would finally see my long lost best pals. I haven’t contacted any of them since we graduated because most of us moved from city to city and we were living our lives separately.

We had a little chit chat, sort of like a preview on what’s going to happen to the said reunion and it was really fun. Anyway we talked about stuff that we don’t even know with each other anymore. We use to be best friends way back and I am hoping that we will be again best friends after this. She actually wanted to talk to me because she was telling me to take a look at some insurance quote that she also wanted for the group to see.

She is helping this friend who needs to reach her quota or something and I find it odd. But looking at what she is offering, I find it quite interesting and I am thinking of getting one for myself. I have been saving money in the bank for future needs bit I thought that it would be best if I have an insurance not just for me but also for my family as well.

In preparation for the Holidays, there are so many parties I have already made appointments to. I don’t want to stay at home and eat my dinner by myself. But I also need some eye cream for dark circles because I am starting to form theses circles around my eyes, I think this is because of stress and always staying up late. I have tried using face creams and moisturizers but it didn’t work for me.

Laptop is the only thing I want this Christmas. I told that to my dad and he just smiled. I was frustrated by that smile because I didn’t know what that meant. It is a smile of a yes because I already ordered and got one for you or a smile of who knows, maybe I will, Maybe I won’t. I hate it when he do that, striking me mysterious smile.

My mom also hates it when he do that because he doesn’t have an outright answer to a question which is very annoying. I just hope and prayed that he will hear what my heart is saying because I really need those for my school stuff and projects.

I just graduated from college, and being a college grad in the middle of a recession is one of the toughest times to try to find a job. Ive been looking for jobs in philadelphia for almost a month until I read this book in my fathers office. This book contains tips on how to make the job search a little simpler. Let me share to you some of those, first , as a recent grad, it’s good to amplify any technological expertise you have, as well as any other fresh perspectives you can bring to the table when applying for jobs. Second, describe your experience creatively and lastly, make use of  your contacts. So if you have good relationships with professors, campus officials, or employees from various internships, now is the time to start networking. Finding a job in the recession can be difficult for anyone, but even more so for a recent grad like me. But don’t give up hope that you’ll find that great job as soon as I did!

I was at my aunt’s house last Saturday because they held a party for the graduation of my cousin. It is always a big party whenever there are occasions like this. It was a good timing for me too because they hold the event on a Saturday where many of the relatives can come and celebrate it. It is like a small reunion as well.

I gave my graduation gift to my cousin and she was really excited. I think by the look on her face, anything would be an appropriate gift. She was thanking me so much and telling me how she did it. She cannot really imagine how she crossed the final debate they had at school because she had this long time public speaking anxiety. He kind of threw up when there are many people staring at her and giving speech.

I think all in the family are like that; we all get nervous in front of a big crowd that is why we train the little ones to mingle with people as much possible. There are many social networking already so I guess the little ones won’t have a problem about that.

Whenever I am visiting another country, for fun, for family or for vacation, I always bring something with me, you know as a remembrance of the wonderful times that I spent in that particular place. I haven’t traveled the whole world yet but that is my goal for the next years of my life. I love bringing home items like hats and caps because it protects me from hot and cold weather and also it makes me look funky and cool.

Many countries have different hats and caps that they offer to tourists so I decided to start collecting them. I do not only get my hats and caps in these countries but I also buy and some gives me beanie caps and hats for gifts and for pleasure. My friends and some relatives notice that I am into hats and caps because whenever they see me, they also see something in my head that is new and they were the hats and caps that I am wearing. It’s cool to collect them because people see them, you cannot only buy them but they give it to you for free as well.
