Leaving a company

Add comment August 31st, 2007

I know for most of our professionals right now they encounter this situation for atleast couple of times, leaving a company. It’s the time where we have to say goodbye to our co-workers and moving to different level stages of our life, a.k.a career change. Now I’m on that situation and I feel a bit mix of emotions happy and at the same time sad because there are part of the company that I will missed for sure. I think the memories will hunt me in the next few months because this is my first company and people there have became my friends. During those times in our company I’ve established my online venture by starting a webmaster blog and 2 other blogs that I’m using to earn few $$ to get me started to a future established websites.

On the brighter side, we will have the chance to prove on what we can do. To fulfill our dreams that we’ve been looking for since we were a kid. I hope we will be successful and we can prove to everybody that we’re capable of doing what we’ve wanted to happen to our life. I know few of my friends don’t agree with my decisions. I can see through their eyes that they don’t believe me on what I’ve wanted on my life to happen. I hope that I can prove them wrong in future time. For now I have to first establish myself and work hard so that all of my dreams will come true.

A Happy Person..

When I woke up this morning at about 4 a.m., I realized that my husband is still not home. Then he knocked on the door and explained what happened to him. He was caught by a policeman because he wasn’t wearing a helmet while riding his motorcycle. I was kind of annoyed because he already knows that it was a strict rule in the city! I was supposed to call a Pennsylvania wrongful death lawyer because of this. Well, because I’m a very understanding wife and I promised myself to be a happy person today, I just reminded him that ‘Honey, bring a helmet next time.’

I went back to sleep and got up at 6 a.m.  I prepared breakfast, cooked omelets and drank some sweet and creamy coffee. I never drink coffee until I saw in the television last week that coffee is a good source of anti-oxidants. But drinking too much may cause heart attack. Maybe two to three glasses is enough. Then I took a shower and wake my son up to prepare to go to his grandfather. I remembered a funny story while my son was sleeping last night. He grabbed my hand (he used to do that to make him feel safe during the night) and bit it and he was talking about chicken! He thought my fingers were chicken? Wow, I must have sweet fingers then, ha ha! Well then to make the story shorter, we went to my father’s house and decided to stay there overnight. We really had a fun time there.

Documentaries

While checking on a online credit card processing website I’ve came across with a documentaries in TV. I am a fan of Documentaries because they document reality. The scenes are very realistic that it touches my heart each and every stories they show. And also I admire those people who do documentaries. That is why I want to be like one someday. I want to witness for myself the real deal behind filming reality. I also want to have my own video camera that I will use to shoot, and enough money to reach people whom I want to be the lead cast of my film, the poor. Because mostly the poor people are the ones in the urban area that is why I know I’ll need enough money to go to their places and hear their hearts out. I particularly chose them because I want to hear their voices. I want to hear their hearts speak up so that the government can do something about their status in life. By doing documentaries I know I can help a lot of people.

My favorite documentary is the one where malnutrition was their topic. It was from the urban area. I saw how difficult their lives are. They feature children who are under weight and short for their ages. They barely eat and when they do their foods are not nutritious but we can’t blame them because that is what they can afford. That’s the sad part of life. There is no equality. I want to be the instrument they can use to be heard. Until my next post.

The Dream

I woke up today feeling happy because of my dream last night. My mom appeared on my dream and it was like I wasn’t dreaming at all. The scene was so clear. I’m going to tell you about this lovely dream. It was a Sunday and I woke up and saw my mom cooking my favorite dish at our kitchen. Then I asked her what’s in store for us this lovely day. And she said that we are going to the church and probably stroll around the mall. Before I could finish my dream I woke up because a cockroach crawled on me. It was really a good dream. After that I’ve decide to start again researching for Denver Colorado real estate because my boss assigned me to work on it and report on our meeting this Monday.

Nevertheless, I am contented seeing my mom once more even in my dreams. Just in my dreams. I guess I’m just missing her after all. It’s been 4 years since she passed away but it was as if she’s just beside me. Watching my every step. Never letting me be alone. That dream was so natural. It was the usual thing my mom would do when it’s a Sunday. Because that’s the only time we could spend quality time together because she has work on the regular days. I try to recall the dream I had over and over because that’s the only way I could see her again. Even if there’s a bad rain outside because of the typhoon I still have the reason to smile because of that lovely dream I had. Until my next post.

Brazil, My Dream Island

While reading lot of articles about Brazil, I’ve made a conclusion that Brazil has lot of good beaches and islands. And this made me crave for more to see Brazil in person. In particular I would like to visit rio de janeiro because they have the finest beaches in the world like Copacabana, and Ipanema . Brazil is known for their colorful culture. Brazil is my dream island that I would like to spend my vacation. We’re currently planning to go there and we have research a lot regarding Brazil starting from the people, culture, politics, and travel destinations.

According to our proposed plans we will be visiting Rio De Janeiro and will spend 2 days on Copacabana. We will visit Copacabana finest beach and will stay on one luxury hotel in Rio De Janeiro, Copacabana Palace Hotel. on the third day we will shift to another fabulous beach, Ipanema. Well hopefully all our plans will come true. I’ve waited for so long for this to happen. We’ll see if when will be the exact date we will be going there.
